Coming from an agricultural trading background, Angus joined the Potato industry in 1994 when he joined the Scottish based growing and packing business E.S.Black Ltd. Following the acquisition of Blacks by Greenvale AP Ltd in 2000, Angus held various positions within the Greenvale business before becoming Chief Executive in 2006.
He now holds the Chief Executive role in both Greenvale and its parent company Produce Investments Ltd, and was part of the small team that successfully floated the Produce Investments business on the LSE AIM market during 2010.
Trevor has 30 years’ experience within Greenvale, primarily in Operations but also within Commercial and General Management. Trevor has worked on a number of sites in different regions around the UK, encompassing a broad business knowledge within the potato and retail sector of the industry.
Over the years, Trevor has built on his knowledge and experience through courses and workshops – more recently a leadership development program. He was assigned to the Greenvale Board in 2005.
Doug joined Greenvale in 2003 from MBM Produce where he held a number of positions in Procurement and Trading, spending time developing suppliers across various sectors of the potato industry. At Greenvale, Doug held the position of General Manager of the Duns packing and growing business and developed a number of new business areas around the group.
His current position takes responsibility for the group’s business in foodservice, wholesale and processing.
Brian joined Produce Investments on 1 August 2008 from Scottish & Newcastle, where he held a number of senior finance roles, both abroad and in the UK. He has significant experience having worked in a number of trading businesses and central roles at Scottish & Newcastle including mergers and acquisitions.
His last role was Finance Director Developing Markets, covering Russia, Ukraine, Baltic States, India, China, Vietnam and the USA. Brian joined Produce Investments following the acquisition of Scottish & Newcastle by Carlsberg and Heineken.
Paul has 27 years’ experience in potato production for the fresh retail market. He joined Greenvale in 1998 from QV Foods, where he gained 12 years’ of potato agronomy and fresh retail experience.
Paul joined the Greenvale Board in December 2004 as Technical Director and is also a Director of the Restrain Company Ltd, a company 70% owned by Greenvale selling ethylene sprout suppressant and ripening systems globally.
After graduating with a degree in Business Studies from Napier, Edinburgh, Andy worked in Human Resources posts in the retail, automotive and manufacturing sectors.
Andy joined Greenvale in December 2003 as Group HR/H&S Manager before assuming the post of HR Director in January 2013.
David joined ES Black as a Technologist in 1995 straight from Newcastle University, having studied Agricultural Economics. During his time at ES Black, David helped develop and expand a very successful growing operation.
In 2001, he assumed the role of General Manager at Greenvale’s seed facility, before progressing to Seed and Procurement Director in 2008. With the acquisition of the Jersey Royal Company in 2014, David moved to Jersey to take up his current position as Managing Director.
After studying agriculture in Shropshire, Andy joined Greenvale and initially worked as part of the Trading Team. After assuming responsibility for Procurement in the West, Andy moved into General Management and was responsible for Greenvale’s site in the West.
Andy's focus on managing retail customers started in 2004 and this led to Andy’s appointment and current role of Retail Commercial Director, with a remit covering the entire group’s retail business.
Appointed to the Greenvale board in February 2016, Leon’s remit includes managing all PR, marketing and category insights activities for the business.
